1.) What exactly is it that you do in the Adult Industry?
What company do you currently work for? What's your job title
or duties?
I work for my own company, Evil Empire Inc. That includes my forensic data recovery and security consulting business [which I've begun to partner with Kevin Mitnick on], all of my adult web holdings as well as I have been retained by MikeAI and Serge as the Oprano Properties Manager for Oprano.com, Opranoamateurs.com, Opranoplus.com and recently Opranoradio.com.
2.) When did you actually get started in the industry?
I got started in the early 80's with one of the first adult bbses in Atlanta called GonZoland BBS. I was one of the radicals that used an online medium for social purposes and included nekkid pictures for download. In the late 80's I discovered the usenet newsgroups and began decoding all the free porn on the internet for my file bases and started passing net email with a uucp alias. In 1993 I registered gonzo.com participated on a minor level to help the internet evolve from the newsgroups into hypertext.
3.) If you could change one thing about the Adult Industry
what would it be and why?
Get rid of all the fly by night scammers in the industry and the so called porn royalty. Why? I'm in this business for the long haul and I'm tired of being portrayed as a pervert/pedophile or a shady quick buck scam artist. There are too many people that get into this business with a strip miner mentality and pimp out sponsor programs that bilk the surfer with things like prechecked cross sales or recurring billing for a software download. Any unexpected charge a surfer gets is BAD for this industry. And then you have the old video porn royals that trying to hold on by entering the market with these EXTREME sites that push the envelope and perpetrate a bad image for the industry.
4.) What advice would you offer to anyone that's just
starting out in the industry?
Set your goals high and your expectations low. If your starting out investing your time as if your are a hobbyist with the expectation of making a good living - Don't. This is a full time job if you hope for full time rewards.
5.) Tell us about any sites you might operate or that
you're most proud of.
I operate way to many for me to even remember. My design skills at very best would have qualified under old school rules. Now they just plan out suck. At this point I'm quite pleased with where I have the Oprano properties heading. I think that the industry is at a point were our actions in will define the course of the online adult industry for many years. Oprano is evolving into a centralized point of contact for doing serious business. In the past I think the resource has served as a no holds barred Better Business Bureau. My goal is to bring in new blood that shares the passion for the business and has the drive and ambition to succeed. With that in mind probably the best thing I've worked on in a while is opranoradio.
We have co branded to run on the AEBN network and they've bribed me with hot chicks to do a radio show. We are calling the show OWNED because I've never been afraid to call bullshit on people that make fraudulent claims like 1:200 conversion rates. My co host is the Thunder from Down Under …CJ and she's known for doing websites that appeal to women. That combination alone is a reason to tune in. I predict at least one fight per week.

What are your hobbies?
I like to go shopping for deals on fur coats that are too small and collect Krispy Kreme teeshirts.

No I am not married. I am currently accepting applications for potential girlfriends…please include full body pics.
8.) How much time would you say you spend working in a
day and do you take regular vacations?
My days vary. As much as 20 hours in a day…I recently rediscovered coffee. Does Internext/trade shows count as a vacation?

you?

10.) What's the one thing you like best about Rated Hot?
I visit Rated Hot to expose myself to different viewpoints and the more laidback webmaster. I guess you could say it's a good chance to EXPOSE myself to the Hotties!
