1.) What exactly is it that you do in the Adult Industry?
What company do you currently work for? What's your job title
or duties?
I work for VS Media, Inc. Probably, most people know us as Videosecrets. My job is to take care of our affiliates on www.vscash.com to make money with our live video chat product flirt4free and to sell our leased content www.vscontent.com So my job title would be Account Executive or Sales Representative. I could give more details on the relationship between vscash.com and vscontent.com … but in a nutshell, webmasters who lease our content are affiliates of VSCASH but not all affiliates of VSCASH lease our content.
2.) When did you actually get started in the industry?
Actually I started in this industry three years ago. It's funny how it happened actually. I was looking for apposition in sales and marketing back in 2001. When I found out that I am interviewing for a job in the adult industry, I was really excited and luckily I got the job and am now a part of our own world. Lots of my college friends told me that I have a job of their dream. ;)
3.) If you could change one thing about the Adult Industry
what would it be and why?
Before I answer this question, I just wanted to make it clear that this is only MY OPINION. Readers have the right to agree or disagree.
I'm not sure if this requires a change, but I would say if we can respect each other more, be friendly to one another I think the industry will be more in harmony.
For companies with affiliate programs: take time to actually welcome each affiliate with an email or a phone call to welcome them to the program. For the affiliates: please do respond to us who have done just that. When we try to reach you via emails or phone, we have our best intentions, which are to make more money together.
I still hear people getting screwed by other people; clearly there was no respect in these cases. It might sound naïve but if we do try that within ourselves, I am sure it will help, even a little bit. ;)
4.) What advice would you offer to anyone that's just
starting out in the industry?
Since I deal with lots of paysite webmasters so I am assuming the advice would be for the people who are starting out to make paysites. I would tell them to do their homework and ask themselves if they really have what it takes (patience, persistence, hard works and money/capital) to succeed in this biz, and not so caught up on the idea of making big bucks from the adult biz, it's not that simple. I would tell them to start with a free site/tgp/protal and see if they have traffic. In 3 years time, I have seen people who wasted their investment on jumping to making these paysites. The main key to this business is TRAFFIC. You get traffic, you are 1 step ahead to make it in this business, and other factors will follow.
5.) Tell us about any sites you might operate or that
you're most proud of.
In my spare time, I put together a site www.secretsagent.com which I use a folder from my main site www.akusuma.com These sites are just for me to upload pictures so my family overseas can see how my little boy grows my friends can envy me with the pictures I took from the shows. ;)

What are your hobbies?
I have lots of em. I like playing basketball with friends in my spare time. If playing with my 2-year-old boy can be called a hobby, then that's my main hobby now. ;)
7.) Are you married? Have a girlfriend or boyfriend? Or
both? *giggle*
Married for almost 5 years now, we have a 2 year-old boy. I used to have a girlfriend but I married her, so now she's an ex girlfriend, LOL. I love telling people that I am sleeping with my ex girlfriend. (they would give me this look and ask.. aren't you married ? )
8.) How much time would you say you spend working in a
day and do you take regular vacations?
I love to give 8 hours a day, but in reality is that even at home sometimes I check my emails and tend to answers the questions or concerns or problems from my clients or affiliates. The funny thing is that I don't feel obligated. Unlike my previous jobs, once I am home, I don't check my emails until the next day. ;)
I do take vacations, sometimes you feel burned from working all the time. When I take my short vacations, I end up checking my emails still but our last Summer vacation was really really nice. I took my family to Hawaii and I did a great job by not checking my emails and voicemails, luckily there were nothing happened while I was gone.
9.) Is there anything personal or professional that you
would like to add or that you would like others to know about
you?
I love to stay in touch with anybody who has known me, whether as AK from Videosecrets or just plain AK or Fonzie. (My real name is Alfonsus Kusuma). I think you would agree with me Princess, we stay friends all these years, whether we do business or not. Bottom point is that I love to make friends. Working in this industry where you can mix business and pleasure, it's a bit easier to do just that.
10.) What's the one thing you like best about Rated Hot?
Besides Princess Marsha ……..?
Well, I love everything about it. I think it is a very friendly place even though I hardly post in here but this place has always been good to me. I have to say the people around it make it a nice place to hang out. I may not post a lot of messages in here or other boards that I joined, but when I do have more time, I will.
