1.) What exactly is it that you do in the Adult Industry?
What company do you currently work for? What's your job title
or duties?
I do turn-key website production, including Perl coding (currently learning PHP), MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, Photography, Photoshop, also do most minor administration duties for my own server.
2.) When did you actually get started in the industry?
I started in early 1997, as a lark to see if there really was any money to be made. The money was great, and it was/is an exciting business. My biggest mistake was not wanting to be "involved" in the xxx side of the business. Many great domain names were still available then.
3.) If you could change one thing about the Adult Industry
what would it be and why?
The free sites killed (almost) the pay sites, and of course now the free sites are losing because no one can afford to host free sites anymore. The e-mail spam abuse has generated too much notoriety and too much attention by the politicians.
4.) What advice would you offer to anyone that's just
starting out in the industry?
Start small, don't expect to get rich quick. Find a mentor and learn from him/her. It's a different business now. You can't just upload a bunch of pics and make any money.
5.) Tell us about any sites you might operate or that
you're most proud of.
As far as content, variety, and value, I'd have to say Photonudity.com. But as an html layout, PhotosByVik.com is more visually appealing.

What are your hobbies?
Boating, vacations (just laying on the beach and snorkling), and anything to do with computers.
7.) Are you married? Have a girlfriend or boyfriend? Or
both? *giggle*
Married, currently under stress due to downturn in the adult web biz.
8.) How much time would you say you spend working in a
day and do you take regular vacations?
Generally I'm in front of the computer from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM daily, with small breaks here and there to spend with the wife, 45 min's a day for a taped TV show, and once in a while I acctually do some work on my "mainstream" business LOL.
9.) Is there anything personal or professional that you
would like to add or that you would like others to know about
you?
Not really, I like to keep a low profile and "fly under-the-radar". Maybe I could add that I keep my word, if I say I'll do it, it will be done eventually.
10.) What's the one thing you like best about Rated Hot?
Great cummuntiy, I like the respect that is shown to all who participate. I only wish I had more time to participate myself.
